Any new ethanol production project should consider the following. Are the existing plants susceptible to a technology shift? What types of new commercial technologies could improve the profitability of our operation? Are there new technologies available that will enable us to maximize the value of DDGS and allow us to merchandise it into the swine, poultry and catfish markets? Could the oil in the corn be removed to produce a higher value co-product than DDGS, and at the same time improve my ethanol yield? Does our site maximize the transportation logistics for all of our products? How can we overcome the higher corn cost that is inherent to our ethanol production region? How much would dry corn fractionation reduce my VOC Emissions and Energy costs? How much would dry corn fractionation increase my Return On Investment? Is my ethanol project feasible?
