Billy Griffin has been providing solutions for process needs for the last 13 years in petroleum, specialty chemical, and renewable resource fields as a senior chemical engineer. He has extensive experience in environmental and process safety, fugitive emissions calculations, biofuels and ethanol plant process design. He was formally trained by Alltech in ethanol production at their alcohol school in Kentucky, but has real world experience in equipment design, installation of equipment, and startup support and commissioning. For the past ten years, Mr. Griffin has been in the renewable resources field defining the process and process equipment in primarily ethanol and biodiesel facilities. He has served as lead process engineer on design or startup of ethanol and biodiesel plants ranging in size from 20 to 200 million gallons per year. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee and a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
