Biodiesel Plant Certification

Biofuel producers are required, by the EPA RFS2 Regulations (as of February 3, 2010) to be certified. The particular requires are delineated in CFR 40 PART 80 - REGULATION OF FUELS AND FUEL ADDITIVES, § 80.1450.b.2. This requires a site visit by an independent chemical engineer, verification of air permit, and other requirements.
